Refunds/Returns Policy

-Mel’s Flower Truck ethos is in delivering market fresh beautiful to our customers and their recipients.

-If for some reason you receive your flowers in an unsatisfactory
condition or they are not received, we ask that you get in contact with us within 24 hours so that we can investigate and action a plan.

-If the flowers are received in an unsatisfactory condition, we require images of what you or the recipient’s has received as well as proof of purchase. It is not necessary for you to bring the flowers to us. By providing us this information it ensures we can resolve this quickly and seamlessly. Complementary
replacement flowers will be sent with no courier fees once there has been agreement of unsatisfactory condition.

- Please note unsatisfactory condition, is directly related to the quality and freshness of the flowers, not liking the colours, varieties are not grounds for unsatisfactory condition.

- If for some reason the flowers were not received due to an incorrect delivery address provided by the sender, we will not provide a replacement or a refund. We will however help to get a redirection of the flowers to recipient’s correct address if possible. Additional courier fees may apply.

- If the flowers left us, but were delivered incorrectly, by one of our couriers, we will ensure a fresh complementary replacement bouquet is delivered with no additional courier fees.

- If for some reason your order was missed, and we did not dispatch your flowers on the day requested, we can either redeliver the flowers on another day or provide you will a full refund.

Please note our terms:

- Orders can be cancelled, free of charge, as long as they have not yet left my truck

- Given the perishable nature of flowers, we do not offer refunds for flowers that have been picked up, or delivered, because you have changed your mind or they are no longer needed. 

- Refunds can only be made back via our website to the card that was used for the original purchase.

- Approved refunds can take 2-4 business days to be completed. 

- As flowers are perishable items, recipients must ensure the flowers are put into water on the day they were received. Follow the instructions provided on our gift cards (See below). We will not provide refunds or replace flowers due the flowers being left out of water and not correctly cared for.    

Caring for your flowers.

- Unwrap your flowers

- Trim stems by approx 1/2 centimeter

- Pop into a vase making sure everything is in water

- Change water & re-cut stems every few days.

- If you require a time specific delivery this must be confirmed with us either verbally or via email and agreed. Writing in the special instructions is no confirmation that we can do this. Due to using 3rd party courier companies we are unable to provide a refund for flowers not received by specific times, as this is out of our control.
