Same‑Day Flower Delivery Across Auckland
Need flowers delivered today?
Order before 9am for same‑day business deliveries, and before 12pm for same‑day residential delivery across Auckland.
If you place your order after 12pm, the website won’t allow you to select same‑day delivery — you’ll need to choose the next day instead.
If you desperately need flowers delivered after 12pm, get in touch.
I can sometimes arrange a late delivery through Deadline Couriers, but this won’t be at the standard delivery rates.
We deliver Monday–Saturday, creating seasonal, market‑fresh flower bouquets that last and bring serious WOW factor — delivered to homes, workplaces, hospitals, and events all over Auckland.

🌸 Delivery Timeframes (How Our Couriers Work)
We deliver between 9am–7pm each day. Because we use specialised floral couriers, exact delivery times can’t be guaranteed — but your flowers will always be delivered within this window.
At Mel’s Flower Truck, we use Premier Floral Couriers, a same‑day courier company that works exclusively with Auckland florists. They’re experts at transporting fresh bouquets safely, and their delivery system is designed to move large volumes of floral orders efficiently across the city.
Two Delivery Runs Each Day
Premier Floral Couriers operate on a two‑run system:
Morning Run
Pick‑ups from Auckland florists happen between 9am–11am
All orders go to a central depot
Deliveries are sorted into areas: East, Central, North Shore, West, South, etc.
Couriers then work systematically through each area, delivering every order from the morning run
Afternoon Run
Pick‑ups happen again from 12pm–2pm
Everything arrives at the depot around 2:30pm
Deliveries are sorted by area again
Couriers head out and deliver all orders from the afternoon run
Why Exact Delivery Times Are Tricky
Premier Floral Couriers are not direct point‑to‑point couriers.
They don’t pick up one order and drive straight to one address — they deliver every order in each area in the most efficient route.
Because of this:
Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed
Deliveries may arrive anytime between 9am–7pm
Timing depends on the suburb, traffic, access, and how many florists are on each run
Business Deliveries
Business deliveries cannot be guaranteed due to reception hours, early closures, and strict delivery windows.
Some business addresses may not be suitable for Premier’s route system.
Home Deliveries
Home deliveries are no problem at all — they fit perfectly within Premier’s delivery structure and are usually very smooth.

What's So Special About Market Fresh Flowers, And Other Questions You Might Have
HOW ARE YOUR FLOWERS SO AFFORDABLE?
At Mel’s Flower truck, I’m well-practised in buying from the flower markets, having done so for the past 17 years. What I have come to realise is that people have been led to believe that flowers are unaffordable.
Sure there are some amazing flowers that are “On Trend”, and these have the price tag to match. I often look at these flowers at the market in awe as well. They have their place for weddings and events, but (for example) I’m not going to sell a single white hydrangea for $20.00. It’s just not in my ethos.
I purchase what is in season and best value. If there’s lots of it at the truck it
means it's good value. Unless it’s the middle of winter when prices always go up purely because it's hard to grow in winter. If you take note (there’s nothing in anyone’s gardens either)
Having a mobile flower truck also allows me to keep my overheads down, and I’ll be there in all weather to keep flowers affordable for you.
I also wrap in brown paper to keep costs down; at the end of the day, it’s the
flowers that should be the focus, not the wrap, as it often goes straight in the bin. I want all people to be able to enjoy flowers and not have to spend a fortune.

WHAT’S SO GOOD ABOUT MARKET FRESH FLOWERS?
Many florists or supermarkets hold onto flowers. So when you buy them, they’re already a few days old. Market-fresh flowers are the freshest and last the longest. I aim to sell all my flowers within 2 days of getting them from the market. So you can be sure your flowers last as long as possible.
HOW LONG SHOULD FLOWERS LAST?
This can vary from variety to variety. I strive to sell Market fresh flowers, which is why I sell out - I don’t hold stock.
When putting together my bouquets I always try and include different elements that make the arrangement last. You should be able to get 7-10 days out of the lasting aspect.
If you’re unsure of what to order and how long it will last, don’t hesitate to ask,
and I can talk you through the options
HOW CAN I HELP MY FLOWERS LAST LONGER?
Not all flowers will last the same amount of time, so it’s crucial that you change the water and remove any flowers that have past their best to ensure the others will last.
DO YOU DELIVER FLOWERS?
Yes, I do flower deliveries Auckland Wide Monday – Friday and Saturday on Request. I use dedicated floral couriers that I know and trust.
When you order, please make sure you give your phone number so the delivery company can contact the recipient in case of delivery problems.
And double check the delivery details, giving information on access to the property. If we can’t access the property your flowers might not be able to be delivered and we will still charge for this.
